With two major ski and snowboard areas nearby, joining the Outdoor Recreation Club is a great way to spend winter. You can also go whitewater rafting, mountain biking, horseback riding, rock climbing, kayaking, and take downhill ski trips.
Group clean up.
Reach out and help. Many campus clubs and organizations do just that. A group of 28 from Alfred State helped clean up after Hurricane Katrina.

Good news, your meal debit card is also good at these great dining places, right on campus. Try Exit West Café, Freshens, Friendly's Café, KFC Express, Pretzel Logic, Peach Pit, Pizza Hut, even Taco Bell. No matter how busy you get no need to miss a meal. You can also fill up with traditional meals at the Central Dining Hall.
