Description:
A lecture and lab-based course that includes study
of accreditation and regulatory agencies in the acute care setting, medicolegal
aspects of health information management, and quality management. The practical application of quality,
utilization, risk and case management, as well as critcal pathways and
physician credentialing are emphasized.
This course is taken in the student's final year of study.
