The electrical, computer & electronics and robotics and computerized control technology laboratories are well equipped with electronic, electrical, and computer test equipment. Students will facilitate their learning by direct hands-on applications of the theory, knowledge, and skills presented in lecture. Computer technology has been integrated into all course content and as such all the facilities for the Electrical/Electronic Department have full wireless network capability for students with laptop computers having network cards. The classrooms are also fully wired with ports for the desktop computers provided and for student laptops without wireless capabilities.
The electrical construction and maintenance program is in a 14,250 square foot facility which contains both the senior and freshman classroom and laboratory facilities. This modern facility also has full wireless and network capabilities.
Much of the hands-on electrical training provided in the freshman year consists of actual wiring projects off-campus, allowing our students to experience real-life scenarios which could not be duplicated in a laboratory environment.
