Alfred State College offers a number of degree programs that can be completed online through the Internet. In addition, we offer a wide variety of credit bearing courses that can be completed over the Internet.
If you have never taken any courses at Alfred State College and intend to enroll in one or more courses as a non-matriculated student, you must contact the Center for Community Education and Training.
Continuing students, please register for courses by clicking the "Registering for a Class" link on BannerWeb and follow the instructions to enroll in a course and process your bill.
Once your bill is processed, you will be assigned an Alfred State College network account username and password. This network account username will serve as your email address and will also be your username for Blackboard, our online course delivery software.
Your initial password is your date of birth in the following format: mmddyyyy. The initial password is pre-expired, meaning you will need to change the password before logging into Blackboard. The simplest way to do that is by logging into Webmail first. That system will recognize the pre-expired password and will take you to a screen which will allow you to make the change.
The course(s) you are registered for will be listed on the right side of your Blackboard homepage. Once you have entered the course click on the course navigation buttons on the left to move around within the course.
Order your textbooks online via the Campus Bookstore. You will need the name and course number of the courses you are taking to place an order.
