Greetings Fellow Alum:
This has been an exciting year of Alfred State College centennial celebrations and I do hope you have been able to attend one or more of the events - the 100th birthday party, commencement, and ballgames in Rochester and Buffalo. Don't forget to mark your calendar for Bake at the Lake and Homecoming/Family weekend.
The campus is looking great with much of the construction complete and new academic programs starting this fall. This is not the Alfred State College you remember - I do hope you will stop in and take a tour.
Alfred State's new president, Dr. John M. Anderson, is moving us forward with campus improvements in Alfred and Wellsville, advances at the college farm, and curriculum additions.
There are many ways that you can become an active part of your Alumni Association and contribute to the fine reputation of Alfred State College: become a mentor, offer to be a speaker, volunteer at a local Alumni Association event...contact us and tell us about yourself. We want to know what you've been up to since graduation from Alfred State and how your education has contributed to your success!
The Alumni Association is constantly working to improve the accuracy of our database. If you can supply contact information for any of your classmates, please forward your updates to the Institutional Advancement office.
We have made many improvements to the Alumni Association Web site and suggest you check it often for upcoming event details. You may register online and also view photos from past events.
I continue to stay involved from my home in the Philippines and I look forward to seeing you at an upcoming Alumni Association event ...keep in touch and monitor the Alumni Association calendar on the Alfred State College Web site.
