Todd Weil has taken the Pioneer to the Region III Division III tournament during his first two seasons at the helm of the program. In his first year in 2006, he took the Pioneers to the Region III Division III Final Four.
Weil is 17-11-4 in his two soccer coaching career at Alfred. He led the Blue and Gold to a 10-4-2 record in 2006 and a 7-7-2 record in 2007. In 2006, the team also earned co-champion honors in the Western New York Athletic Conference.
Weil most recently was the head lacrosse coach at SUNY Cobleskill. He also has served as the assistant lacrosse coach at Cortland State. Prior to beginning his collegiate coaching career, Weil served as a teacher and a coach at the New York Military Academy and at Trinity Pawling School. At these positions he coached football, hockey, and lacrosse.
Weil earned a bachelor’s of science degree in health education from Cortland, where he was a defenseman on the lacrosse field.
At Alfred State, Weil is also the college’s lacrosse coach and a teacher in the physical education department.
