The Pioneers wrestling program has grown into a Region III championship contender year after year. The Pioneers have finished as the Region III runner-ups two of the past three years and have won two WNYAC championships in the past four years.

Wed, Jul 16th, 2008Eight Alfred State College athletes have earned NJCAA Academic All-Americans for excellence in the classroom. Cal Ayers (Letchworth), Keenan Hall (Monticello), Kaila Smith (Alfred Almond), Dustin Falkner (Letchworth), and Gallaway Longenecker (Manheim, PA) were all named Distinguished Academica All-Americans while Kevin Underhill (Somers), Paul Farrell (St. Francis), and Sarah Palmiter (Alfred Almond) were named All-American. read more »

Mon, May 19th, 2008Three Alfred State College athletes have been awarded the SUNY Chancellor's Scholar Athlete Award for excellence academically and athletically. Gallaway Longenecker (Manheim, PA), Zak Williamson (Rocky Point), and Keenan Hall (Monticello) were honored by SUNY and Chancellor Dr. John B. Clark. read more »
