Job Description:
VILLAGE HEAD POSITION ($3600-$4000)
Responsible for overseeing three units, the staff, campers and parental issues within. Looking for someone with experience working with children and previous supervisory experience. Must be a mature adult (21+).
UNIT HEAD POSITION ($3000-$3300)
Responsible for overseeing a specific age grouping, supervising staff and campers within. Looking for someone with previous experience working with children and the ability to supervise staff. Must be a mature adult (21+).
EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN ($3500-$3700)
Must have current EMT certifications, including first aid and CPR. Responsible for the administration of the entire medical office for YMCA Camp Arrowhead, including tracking daily medications, allergies and illnesses of both campers and staff. Also responsible for aiding in daily check in and out of campers. Must be a mature adult (21+).
SENIOR/JUNIOR COUNSELOR POSITIONS
($2400-$2600/$1800-$2100)
Responsible for daily programming, including planning and implementing of safe, fun and educational camp activities. Positive attitude and leadership skills required, as well as a willingness to work with children.
(SENIOR: 18+ / JUNIOR 16-17)
LIFEGUARDS ($2400-$2600)
Responsible for assisting in the pool area, including guarding various ages of children, and educational aquatic programming. Must have current life guarding certification, as well as CPR and first aid by the beginning of camp. Must be 18 +.
SPECIALIST POSITIONS ($2500-$2900)
Responsible for developing and implementing specific curriculum and activities for all ages of camp. The ability to program in specific areas, including lesson plans for various ages and skill levels. Hiring for the following specific positions: Archery (suggested NAA certification is not required for hire; we have the ability to train), Outdoor Living Skills, Golf, Ropes Instructors, Arts & Crafts, Music & Drama, Nature.
