All alumni, faculty, staff, retirees, donors, and friends of the College are welcome to attend and enjoy the festivities. Reunion 2008 will focus on those who graduated in years ending in 3 or 8. Special recognition will be given to reunion classes celebrating their 50th (Class of 1958), 25th (Class of 1983), and 10th (Class of 1998) anniversaries. Friday, July 25

6 - 8 p.m.
Dorm Check-In (for alumni who will stay on campus)

8 p.m. - Midnight
Nostalgic Night in Downtown Alfred
Meet and greet classmates for an informal gathering in downtown Alfred at GJ's; cash bar, munchies. No cover charge, but please indicate your attendance on the reservation form so we can make the appropriate arrangements.

Saturday, July 26

9 - 11:30 a.m.

8 - 11 a.m.
Campus Fitness Center
Orvis Activities Center
A 4,500-sq.-ft. space housing cardiovascular equipment, resistance equipment, and a free-weight area. Free to reunion participants. Enjoy at your leisure.

9 - 10:30 a.m.
Historical Walking Tour of Campus
Meet in front of Huntington Administration Building.
Stroll the campus with an Admissions tour guide and visit campus buildings, classrooms, the Orvis Center, a residence hall, and view recent renovations and current building projects. Free, but please indicate on the registration form the number and names of people participating.

9 - 11 a.m.
Tour of the Wellsville Campus
Meet in front of Huntington Administration Building.
Visit campus buildings and classrooms and view recent renovations and current building projects. Free, but you must pre-register for the Wellsville Campus tour. A minimum number of participants is required to offer the tour and bus accommodations. Please indicate on the registration form the number of people participating.

10:30 - 11:30 a.m.
Annual Meeting - Alumni Association
Complimentary Coffee/Muffins
Location: TBA
Board members will be elected to the Alfred State Alumni Association. All are welcome to attend.

11:30 a.m.
Free shuttle bus to and from the Lake Lodge for Bake at the Lake
Huntington Administration parking lot. Return from the Lake Lodge starting at 6 p.m.

Bake at the Lake

Noon - 3 p.m.
Farm Complex Open House
Tour the Alfred State College Farm and learn about plans for the Center for Organic & Sustainable Agriculture renovations. Please indicate on the reservation form if you are interested in visiting the Farm Complex.

Noon - 8 p.m.
Bake at the Lake - ASC Lake Lodge
Clam Bake and Chicken Barbecue
Adults - $30
Children 6-12 - $15
Children 5 and under are free
Join us for this sumptuous feast and a variety of activities.

12:30 - 2:30 p.m.
Appetizers
Partake in an assortment of appetizers including steamed and raw clams, chicken wings, cheese and crackers, vegetables, and fruits. Beverages at the Bake include draft beer, wine, lemonade, soda, and coffee.

Activities throughout the day:
Bake at the Lake - fishingBocce ball, fishing derby (bring your own poles), nature walk, card games, frisbee, badminton, volleyball, awards & recognition, and more.

1 - 3 p.m.
Petting Zoo
A hands-on experience for people of all ages with a variety of Alfred State farm animals.

4 - 7 p.m.
Barbecue
Featuring Alfred's famous Stearn's chicken and an all-you-can-eat-buffet, including beef on kummelweck, baked beans, potato and macaroni salads, corn-on-the-cob, ice cream novelties, cookies, and brownies.

Noon - 6 p.m.
DJ
Favorite tunes to please every generation. You will dance to the music from the first note to the last.

Social Event
For those staying overnight in the residence hall, join old friends and new acquaintances for some restful social time back in the dorm lounge. Light refreshments and a big screen TV will be available.

Accommodations
Relive the campus experience by staying in a campus residence hall on Friday and/or Saturday night! We have arranged for participants and their guests to stay in Braddon Hall. Arrangements can be made for groups to room on the same floor. Each room has two twin beds with a maximum of two people per room. Linens, towels, and blankets will be provided. Cost per person per night is $15. Please indicate on the registration form the number of nights and names of people staying in the dorm.

Tent and trailer camping is available behind the Lake Lodge at the Lake Lodge Campground with 60 sites open. Facilities and services include water and electric, lake, fireplace, showers, laundry, and grills. Camping reservations or information can be obtained by contacting Lake Lodge, (607) 587-4705, lejeunl [at] alfredstate [dot] edu.

A variety of hotels and motels is located in the Alfred, Hornell, and Wellsville area. View a complete list of accommodations. Make your reservation early as July 25 - 26, 2008, is a busy weekend in the Alfred/Hornell area.
