Part I
8 - 9 a.m. "Ready. On Your Mark, Set..." (Check-in) - Orvis Activities Center
9 a.m. "GO" (Welcome) - Orvis Auditorium
9:15 a.m. Passing the Baton (Students) - Various Locations
  Description of program: Meet with your student Orientation Leader and receive a
small group introduction to ASC!
  "Coaches" Meeting - What Next? (Parents) - Orvis Auditorium
Description of program: What to expect as an ASC parent.
9:55 a.m. Meet the Trainers (Students and Parents) - Orvis Auditorium
  Description of program: An overview of important ASC services.
  • Auxiliary Campus Enterprises & Services (ACES)
  • University Police
  • Health Services
  • Debt Management
  • The Learning Center
10:45 a.m. Qualifying Rounds (Students and Parents)
  Description of program: An opportunity to select from the following options/programs
which interest you.
Choose from the following options and participate in as many as you desire:
Important notice! Please be on time for scheduled overviews.
  Option 1 - Residence Hall Tours and Overviews in the Orvis Auditorium; will begin
at the following times: 11:00 a.m., 11:45 a.m., 12:30 p.m.
  Option 2 - Commuter Student Overviews will begin at the following times:
11:00 a.m., 11:45 a.m., in Allied Health 120.
  Option 3 - Lunch Break will be served in the Central Dining Hall. The ACES resource
table for telephone and dining services will also be in the New Student Gathering Space.
  Option 4 - Resource Tables will be open in the Student Gathering Space.
Representatives from the following areas will be available to answer questions
and to distribute information:

  Option 6 - Financial Aid, Student Accounts, Enrollment Services offices will be open to
answer your questions in the Agriculture Science Building. Admissions counselors
are available in the Huntington Administration Building.
  Option 7 - Townhouse Open House available from 12 p.m.-1 p.m. in Townhouse 4
1:20 p.m. Clearing the Hurdles (Students and Parents) - Orvis Auditorium
  Description of program: This is a critical workshop introducing academic and
computer resources for your path toward college success.
  • Introducing Enrollment Services and Technology Services
  • Closing Remarks

Part II

School of Arts & Sciences/School of Management & Engineering Technology Agenda:

Description of program: The following two hours will include student course registration (please review your Curriculum Sheet in advance) as well as sessions on academic and student success. (Note: machine tool students stay on the Alfred Campus.)
